Hey hey! Phew! Almost done with the whole series on diffusing. I swear, I got high on the oils because to get myself into the mood, I have been diffusing to help me writefasterwritefasterquickquickquick!

So ok! Besides using YL diffusers as I have covered here, I do use a number of non YL diffusers too. I had a lot of fun testing them out and using them in my home so I hope you can gain some experience from my experiences!

FULL DISCLOSURE: While a number of the diffusers are sold by my friends, please note these are all bought by me rather than being sponsored. So what you are reading, are my honest and candid opinions on each diffuser. 

Muji Diffuser

A classy Zen looking diffuser, this is one of my favourites to use in the home. Because of its compact size, I have used it EVERYWHERE!

It’s usually found in my kitchen because admittedly, I have a lot of clutter on my kitchen table and this doesn’t take up a lot of space. And I have also brought it with me to the hospital when I was labouring for both my pregnancies! Maybe that’s why I fell asleep between yelling between contractions.

Ah so many fond memories….

1. Type of Diffuser: Water
2. Cost: SGD89.00 (but check with Muji for the latest pricing)
3. Area of coverage: Bedroom
4. The Piggy Factor: Really easy to use! I love the minimalist look, the ease of cleaning and maintenance. The Japanese are so good at design and one thing I appreciate is that when you turn it on, it is by default set to 3 hours rather than you having to press 1 hour then 2 then 3.
5. Consumption of EO and Duration: 5 drops, 100 ml, diffuse to 3 hours
6. Travel friendly: Very. Easy to bring to places. Would be ideal for the hotel or in my case, the labour suite, heh
7. Appearance: Zen
8. Ease of Cleaning: Easy! Just drain off, rinse with water, refill with water and eo and you are good to go!
9. Tip! If you have a friend who is in Japan and don’t mind buying this over there, it sells for SGD20 cheaper. However you need an adaptor for the differing voltage

Soundtech Orb Diffuser (currently out of stock, however Young Living USA stock a similar model)

The Orb diffuser was first introduced by YL USA during the 2014 USA convention. I found it cute then but did not purchase. Consequently my group bought some and the main gripe coming back was that there were metal parts inside the Orb and these do come into contact with water. The parts rusted over time and while it didn’t impact the operating, it was a uncomfortable thought to know that you are diffusing… “rusty water”.

So when Teresa and Pat show me their Orb diffuser, and revealed that theirs have no metal parts, I WAS SOLD! There’s black and white; I bought the black and I love the fact that it is USB powered so I can attach a power bank and diffuse wherever I go.

5. Consumption of EO and Duration: 5 drops on wick, diffuse up to 3-4 hours depending whether you set it as continuous diffusing (green light) or intermittent diffusing (blue light)
6. Travel friendly: Perfect for traveling. Runs on USB power leh~!
7. Appearance: Cute! Get white and it really looks like an egg!
8. Ease of Cleaning: Medium. Because it uses wick and water, you have to switch to a new wick for each oil you use. To clean, rinse and dry off.
9. Tip! If you want a spa like experience in the bathroom, bring the Orb there! 😀

Gratitude Diffuser

Newly launched by 7 Hummingbirds, I was intrigued by it because it looks like a baby Muji diffuser and yet it runs on USB power too! It also comes with a car plug so this is ideal for placing it in the car especially if you have a cup holder. 🙂

8. Ease of Cleaning: Easy! Just rinse, drain off, top up with water and eo and you are good to go!

Abundance Diffuser

This one! Oh! It’s my lifesaver during the darn haze.

Picture a crazed woman, running around in the house, with a LARGE scoop of water in one hand and Purification in the other.

Picture her topping up the 123456789 diffusers in the house madly 123456789 times. Ok ok, I don’t have that many diffusers but you get what I mean. -_____-;;

Abundance is great as a heavy duty diffuser because it can diffuse up to 8 hours, on either low or high mist settings. I love it for the night too because I don’t have to get up to top up the water and the oil. #sleepisprecious

It comes with 7 LED light settings so you can pick your favourite colour or even no light if that is what you want. This is also my favourite besides the AromaLux when I need to diffuse during the haze or when I want to keep everyone healthy at home.

6. Travel friendly: Erm… unless you think you will diffuse all day long??
7. Appearance: Utilitarian
8. Ease of Cleaning: Easy. But I don’t clean it at all since it diffuse off almost all the water
9. Tip! Do you need a night light when you sleep? Because Abundance has 7 LED light colours, what I do is I pick a soothing colour like blue or  purple and diffuse it at night. Great smell + Night Light = Happy Faith!

Serendipity Diffuser

So I run YL as a business. Amidst 2 young kids who needs my attention like 10 million times a day. Tandem nursing. Cooking for the family every day.

This girl needs her own space! Uurgh!

Enter the hubs. He saw that I really needed a space to be alone, to think and do work for my business AND hide away from the kids for a bit. We do have cafes and restaurants just downstairs but I’m not in favour of bursting my wallet, waistline and my data plan everytime I work downstairs on my laptop in those non Wifi zones.

So he quickly cleared up one of our rooms and I am now SMUG enough to say that I am sitting up high and cosy in my little niche, working, daydreaming and inhaling Motivation from my chic chic Serendipity diffuser. Sometimes Motivation smells real bad to me especially when I am lazy but Serendipity keeps me ticking along on the productivity track. 🙂

8. Ease of Cleaning: Easy. But I don’t clean it at all since it diffuse off almost all the water
9. Tip! Watch the colours change and soothe you as you do your creative thinking!

So here is my lowdown on the many YL diffusers I have used. Just remember that for the prices listed, sometimes YL does monthly promos that allow YL members to get them for free. 🙂

Dewdrop Diffuser

One of the starting diffusers that most people have since it may come FREE when you sign up for a YL membership or after completing 3 months of Essential Rewards orders.

Created by the renown diffuser company, Puzhen, I really like the Dewdrop. It is resilient, easy to use, easy to clean and you have the options whether to have the blue light on or off.

1. Type of Diffuser: Water
2. Cost: Free to SGD117.50 for members. Come with a free 5ml Lemon and Lavender
3. Area of coverage: Bedroom
4. The Piggy Factor: Very easy to use and clean. Tops most diffusers by being able to diffuse up to 4 hours.
5. Consumption of EO: 5-8 drops for a full tank of water, diffuse up to 4 hours
6. Travel friendly: No. Because of the conical shape, it’s a little hard to pack in
7. Appearance: Utilitarian
8. Ease of Cleaning: Easy. Wide base so you don’t have to strain your fingers poking and cleaning at the corners
9. Tip! Align the inner cover with the hole along the same line as the button at the bottom AND the Young Living words with the top cover for a perfect fit when you close the diffuser before operating.

Ceramic Diffuser

When I was tired of using water based diffusers (have you seen how the water looks like when you didn’t diffuse for days?! Uurgh!), I went to explore the nebuliser type of diffusers.

At that time, the ceramic diffuser was just launched to replace the Everyday Diffuser and I got one to try. I like it so much that I got 2 more because I love the strength of its diffusing and I prefer nebulising to water diffusers. It’s not very child friendly though because it’s made of ceramic and glass so be careful if you have young kids around.

3. Area of coverage: Bedroom / Large Room / Living Room
4. The Piggy Factor: Well… it can be finicky to clean so I compensate for it by not cleaning very often and using back the same oils over and over again. Ahaha. However it does get choked up if you delay the cleaning for too long and you can see a pool of eo in the base of the flask.
5. Consumption of EO and Duration: 12-20 drops, diffuse to under 3 hours
6. Travel friendly: No. It’s fragile
7. Appearance: Utilitarian
8. Ease of Cleaning: Medium. What I do is I use the YL Thieves Household Cleaner and water to clean the inside. Once it is clean but wet, I run the diffuser and it vibrates off the water (if you are particular about it being dry)
9. Tip! Sometimes water or eo get stuck in the narrow tunnel underneath the flask. I usually use my mouth and blow hard to push the oil / water out. Weird I know but hey it works!

Aria Diffuser

Oh my, the crème de la crème of all YL diffusers. When I first saw it, I LUST for it… but wow the price! #imworthit

So I got smart. I BUGGED my hubs and sis until they gave me my ONE AND ONLY ARIA for Christmas 4 years ago. Heh. Well Young Living Singapore got SMARTER. They gave it as a freebie for the December holiday promo then. WUTTTT. So anyway. *ahem* #luckilynotmymoney

The Aria is also from the renown diffuser company, Puzhen. This is a lovely lovely piece that adds a touch of class to your living room or bedroom. It has pre-programmed soothing zen music and lights that transports you to SPA LAND or in my case, got me to doze off before bedtime. *sheepish*

When it is operating, you will see the mist filling up the glass bowl before coming out of the sprout. Such a beautiful piece. And robust too. My Aria is still working well after all these years.

1. Type of Diffuser: Water
2. Cost: SGD335 for members.
3. Area of coverage: Bedroom / Large Room / Living Room
4. The Piggy Factor: Very easy to clean and operate because the base is large.
5. Consumption of EO and Duration: 12-20 drops, you can diffuse to 3 hours for 2 rounds
6. Travel friendly: No no no! It’s large and fragile… LEAVE IT AT HOME!
7. Appearance: Beautiful
8. Ease of Cleaning: Easy. I usually just rinse it, drain off then dry and use. Just be careful with the glass globe
9. Tip! Be careful not to have water stay in the diffuser for too long. There are metal parts in the Aria and I’ve realised the metal circle at the bottom of the Aria rusted a little AFTER MANY MANY TIMES OF NOT EMPTYING IT OUT AND LETTING THE WATER EVAPORATE.GLUM.
   Well that’s what I pay for being a PIGGY

USB Diffuser

When I first saw this at the USA Convention in 2014, I was like wow, this is so cool! A thumbdrive diffuser, portable, nifty looking and you can even set the intensity of the diffusing.

1. Type of Diffuser: Nebuliser
2. Cost: SGD37.50 for members
3. Area of coverage: Personal space / car
4. The Piggy Factor: Only hardworking people need to apply! This diffuser  is tricky to clean and you MUST clean it often so that it operates well
5. Consumption of EO and Duration: It comes with a teeny 2 ml bottle so it depends on how often you diffuse, the intensity you set.
6. Travel friendly: Perfect traveling companion. Does your neighbour on the plane smell weird? This is a perfect solution
7. Appearance: Cute
8. Ease of Cleaning: Difficult. You have to clean thoroughly with rubbing alcohol and OFTEN otherwise it may not work well. Be careful with citrus oils or blends with citrus oils because these are especially hard wearing on the diffuser especially if the bottle leaks
9. Tip! If your USB diffuser is not working, clean again and clean thoroughly with rubbing alcohol. I have heard of cases of diffusers being miraculously resuscitated with proper cleaning 🙂

AromaLux and AromaDome

The AromaLux (that pyramid looking thing) on the right is available in YL SG. This is the MOST POWERFUL diffuser you can find in YL Singapore and can probably rival the Therapro diffuser from YL USA for its strength and various diffusing options.

The AromaLux works by popping the bottle of eo of your choice right into the pyramid, set your duration and interventions of diffusing and you are ready to go!

The AromaDome is the tent that is a optional purchase from YL USA. If you want to have focused, intense diffusing, you can rig the Lux up to hook up to INSIDE the Dome like this:

This is very ideal if you want to work on supporting your respiratory, immunity, emotions and so on and want an intense experience. It is recommended that you use the Dome and Lux together for no more than 30 mins. I know I have tried 5 mins and found it pretty pheeeew~~!

4. The Piggy Factor: You basically only need to clean the tube or change it when you want to change the oils to be diffused
5. Consumption of EO and Duration: Depending on the intensity, duration, intervention of diffusing you set. A 15 ml bottle should last for a few days at the lowest setting
6. Travel friendly: Yes. The Dome can be folded like a car shade so it is very portable. The Lux is made of plastic so there are no breakables
7. Appearance: Utilitarian
8. Ease of Cleaning: Easy. Either wash the teeny tube or change to a new one
9. Tip! If you are diffusing a blend that has been blended with a carrier oil, you may find the residue of the carrier oil when the Lux has diffused off all the eo. Also before you plug the YL eo bottle into the AromaLux, please REMOVE the white ring of the bottle otherwise the fit into the top of the Lux is not tight

Sha Diffuser (also known as Rainstone Diffuser)

Honestly I don’t have this diffuser but my team mate, Bunga Mawar has kindly stepped in with her review. Thank you so much Bunga!!

“I have been using Sha Diffuser for almost a year and never have problem with it. It is easy to handle and the weight is perfect, fit to hold with your hand (how to describe it, not too heavy and not too light, haha) and it will stand still in your table.

I love my Sha and this ultrasonic diffuser is also an ionizer AND ALSO made of a rare purple clay, It is a beautiful art. The bubbling sound is so relaxing. It makes me feel as though I am at the ocean.

The Puzhen Sha requires tap or filtered water, and 5 to 8 drop of essential oil. The machine need to be cleaned once a month with a natural soap, but i prefer to clean it weekly since i use it everyday. I’ll suggest to rinse and keep dry if you don’t use it.

The only problem i found with Sha Diffuser is when i lost the remote (Why do kids love to play with remote??!). Yes, the Puzhen Sha comes with an infrared remote control, and without it, there is no way to turn it on. Thank goodness I found it eventually hidden in my daughter’s bag. 😀

The Puzhen Sha also have an auto shutdown time (1 hour/ 2 hours/ 3 hours/ 6 hours/ 8 hours), have 3 different soft LED colors, and the power input is 15W.

To me, Sha isn’t too expensive and fits my family needs perfectly. I love the idea of auto shutdown timer and can diffuse all night long. Me Happy!!”

New to the Young Living Oils? Getting from Zero to Hero on Your Oiling Journey!

So you are new to the oils and you wonder how to get from zero to hero on zee oils?

When I first started using the oils, I got flustered too. So many oils, so many usages, what the-…. I was struggling to remember them all! The joke then was that I would always mix up the usage for Copaiba and Helichrysum. Hell, I couldn’t even pronounce the names then. (FYI, it’s KO-Pa-Eee-Ba and Hell-Li-Chris-Ssum.)

So my struggle is your gain. Here’s 10 ways to get up to warp speed on the oils and have a great oiling journey!

1. Know that with the YL oils, you are empowered to make your own decisions. There’s no doctor to tell you what to do. And learning while keeping an open mind is very key to your oiling journey.
There’s a lot of information that you can google up – factual, interesting, empowering and on the other end, scary, disturbing (hands up if you have read articles on the dangers of using essential oils) and sometimes downright inaccurate.
My own experience is that no two essential oil companies are alike and if an article is quoting essential oils in general rather than referring to YL oils, I tend to ignore. It’s not so much as the brand for me, but it’s the painstaking details that Young Living goes into to ensure that the oils are of a top notch grade for our healths. 2. Each oil is multi functional unlike our Western meds. No oil is singular function so if you are worried that your kid may react to eucalyptus or peppermint, use something else! Dorado Azul, Myrtle are great oils for young ones. Which is why you need to…. (see third point below)

3. Utilise ALL offline and online resources on Young Living.
Some great resources are:
a. Your uplines. Don’t know who the person is? Login to your account and click on Update My Profile. Your enroller and sponsor (also known as your uplines) are listed there. If you don’t know them personally and don’t have their contact numbers, request YL to provide. I know some would say “I don’t know them and I am embarrassed to make first contact.” Don’t be. They wouldn’t bite and who knows, they may open a whole new world of oils to you. 🙂
b. Books. I like these two – Essential Oils Pocket Reference and the Higley’s Reference Guide for Essential Oils.
c. Mobile application. In fact Higley came out with a cool application for Android and iPhone / iPad now. Search for “Reference Guide for Essential Oils” for Google Play Store on Android or “Ref Guide for Essential Oils” on the App Store for iOS. It’s about SGD10 for the application but it’s also cheaper and definitely easier to carry around than the book. And very very handy as it covers oils for most conditions, information on the singles and blends too. If you don’t have a specific oil, rest assure that your uplines / books / mobile app / FB groups have a whole list of alternative oils for you to try.
d. FB groups. I love ONE Drop: Public for continuous education on using the oils. And of course I am biased but my own FB group, Let’s Add Oil have a lotta awesome info too. 🙂

4. The oils work… but they shouldn’t be an excuse for a poor diet and lifestyle.
You might find well meaning oilers telling you to look at your lifestyle (or your loved ones’ lifestyles) when you are using the oils. The oils help you to clean your body from the inside and assist your body to balance to wellness but your body needs your assistance too in these areas:
a. Are you drinking enough water? We need a minimum of 2 litres daily.
b. Is there a lot of caffeine, sugar and dairy in your diet? Also known as the 3 poisons which can tip your body into hyperacidity, create inflammation and lead to a whole new host of health problems.
c. Do you have enough sleep?
d. How’s your stress level?

5. Should I dilute or not with a carrier oil? What’s the recommended dosage for a baby / child / adult?
Diluting simply means using a carrier oil to slow down the body’s rate of absorption of the essential oil. You can if you want to or use this guide:
a. Newborns to 6 months old – I only use my thumb, swipe off the top of the bottle and apply to their SOLES only. That’s less than a drop. And that’s ok because they are so young and teeny.
b. 7 months to 1 year old – I take a drop and rub it together on my palms first for 5 seconds then apply on their soles. It’s still less than a drop for them since you are absorbing it first. And its ok for you too. You can try on their chest but check for any skin sensitivity reaction. If redness shows up or your child is uncomfortable, dilute with a carrier oil or V6.
c. Toddler – I take a drop and apply on wherever it is needed.
d. Teenagers and Adults – If the person’s lifestyle isn’t very healthy, I use only 1 drop. If they are pretty much used to the oils, I have gone from 2-8 drops depending on the condition and location. E.g. if I am oiling a large surface area like the back, I would use about 4 drops. If you are not sure, use lesser first. And if case of skin sensitivity, please grab your carrier oil or V6 and apply to ease.

6. Where do I apply the oils?
Easiest way to remember is to target where the condition is at. For a respiratory condition, it makes sense to apply on the chest / back to target the lungs. For muscle pain, apply where it hurts. If you are unsure or want to confine to soles, google “sole vita flex” and apply on the spot for the organ. Our soles, hands and ears are micro systems of our bodies but it is a lot easier to apply on your soles. For oils to work on your emotions and state of mind, I like them over my heart and my brain stem (soft spot at base of skull at the back of my head).

7. Hot oils! Confine to soles.
Some common hot oils are thieves, immupower, cassia, oregano, thyme, basil, clove. Some find that lemon, lemongrass, peppermint (well it’s not hot really but pretty minty), Raven are hot too but it depends from individual to individual. This is where you can check out the % of phenols in each oil. Chances are the higher the %, the hotter it is.

8. Layering vs Blending
I like to offer 2-3 oils as a buffet for my body to pick to balance to wellness. So how do I do it? I layer, i.e. I apply one oil after another on myself. Some people say you have to wait a while before applying the second oil but I tend to just do it straight one after another. The choice is yours.
Blending is basically mixing the oils in a certain ratio in your palm or in a bottle and then apply / ingest. One good example is the LLP formula (lemon, lavender, peppermint in equal parts) for both applying and ingesting.
When would you layer or blend? I would layer when I want to experiment on a few oils for a condition. I would blend if I am following a specific formula or recipe.

9. Ingesting oils… safe or not?
The choice is up to you… BUT please only do it with YL oils. I don’t know how other companies create their oils but I would only trust YL for injesting.  You can buy empty capsules from TCM halls or from YL USA and add the oils inside, cap them and swallow with some water.
I would ingest in capsules if I want the oil to work from my digestive tract onwards, e.g. the antibiotics blend or the oil taste terrible or is too hot, e.g. lavender, oregano.
I would ingest WITHOUT capsules for e.g. if I need to support my respiratory.

10. NO OILS ON THESE PLACES EVER….!
Never never drip oils directly into your EYES, EARS, NOSTRILS. NO NO NO. You wouldn’t have permanent damage but just don’t. It’s gonna be excruciating. But in case you got some into these parts, use a carrier oil or V6 or something fatty (like milk) to wash it out. If you don’t have these, grab the cooking oil from your kitchen. NO WATER. Water repels oils and push them quicker into your body, so its double the agony.

Tips on ordering from YL USA (and getting your money worth)

So after enjoying the Young Living SG products, you have a hankering to try the YL USA products? And no wonder. With the largest selection in all the YL branches, YL USA has so many wonderful oils and products that would be a wonderful accompaniment to what we have in SG.

These are my suggestions for making it worth your time and money to do an USA order.

1. First, check out what are the monthly free gifts for USA. Usually YL USA gives freebies at 190 PV, 250 PV and 300 PV.

2. If you are going to get the items shipped back to Singapore, my advice to you is try to consolidate your purchases to save on shipping and gun for the 190 PV promo. Why? Because FedEX shipping starts at USD28 even for one bottle of essential oil so it makes sense to consolidate your orders. With a 190 PV order, you probably would be at USD30+ shipping unless you have really heavy or bulky stuff (Like Balance Complete).

3. For shipping back to Singapore, you also wouldn’t want to hit the 250 and 300 PV tier thanks to our lovely Singapore GST. The customs tax you for your order once the value exceeds SGD400. This includes your order value, the freebies value and the shipping charge. So getting the 250 and 300 PV freebies isn’t so worthwhile in the long run.

4. You can try to contest the tax by getting YL USA to provide a letter but in my personal experience, there’s a lot of paperwork, liaising with customs, FedEx and YL USA that puts me off altogether. So deep breathe now… just do the 190 PV order.

5. A safe guide to avoid GST is to ensure that your order and shipping do not exceed USD250. Leave the buffer for the freebies. Ignore the PV value because some items do not have 1 USD = 1 PV, e.g. diffusers.
UPDATE on 7 Feb 2015: The USD250 is calculated when the USD/SGD exchange rate is 1.32. Currently it has soared so please calculate the conversion accordingly. You want to calculate the value of the freebies at RETAIL PRICE (not member’s price) because that’s how YL will declare the value to the customs. 

6. Bonus tip for those who wonder whether they can do an Essential Rewards (ER) order with USA. Yes you can! Just login to the USA site with your usual credentials and click on Essential Rewards [full steps]. Insert the ER template and do your order. There you go! Happy as a clam! Bonus is you earn PV on this order and ER orders have subsidised shipping. It’s only a few USD dollars shipping but hey free money (and PV)!

7. What if you don’t want to do an USA ER order next month? Simple. When your first order has arrived, call or email YL Singapore (not USA) and request them to remove the USA ER template. Well you better set a reminder to remove it otherwise you get the same shipment again next month.

8. USA ER dates are snapped up VERY quickly in the month so grab your date fast. Or contact Live Help to have them manually set up the order for you.

9. For ER SG members who are still in their 1 year membership, please note that if you still want your SG quarterly freebies, you still have to do your SG ER order each month. The freebies are on the condition that you do not skip a month of SG ER.

10. For those after a year of ER membership like me, this means you are as free as a bird. You can switch your monthly ER orders between SG and USA; something I do pretty often.

[Compensation Plan Part Four] Snow White and Her 7 Dwarfs… or also known as Rising Star Team Bonus!

Ok so you made it to Part Four. 🙂 I’ll ease into today’s compensation plan lesson by telling a story.

Snow White has been sharing about the oils to her little friends, i.e. the seven dwarfs. I’m not sure who introduced her to YL (lol) but she has been on Essential Rewards (ER) for quite some time now. Thanks to her sweet caring nature, the dwarfs soon got into the oils:

Grumpy got Joy and Release. He loves diffusing them and applying them over his heart and liver.
Happy got Abundance so he could feel happier.
Sleepy loves Peppermint and Cedarwood to keep him alert.
Bashful often uses Valor for courage.
Sneezy, thanks to lavender and purification, sneeze no more!
Dopey tried everything because he wasn’t quite clear on what he needs. 😉
Doc loves frankincense and sandalwood as he’s pretty into the reprogramming of DNA stuff.

The dwarfs in time, got their own ER memberships and began to spread the word of the YL oils in the ahem, Dwarf Country. Some of them even have their own downlines. When it was time for YL to send out the commission report, Snow White has a nice surprise. She received Rising Star Team Bonus shares for the following:

1. Grumpy, Happy and Sleepy who did 300 PV orders that month. [1 share]
2. Bashful was afraid that Valor would soon run out of stock in Singapore so he stocked up to 500 PV. Sneezy thinks that the haze is coming again so he also stocked up to 500 PV too. [2 shares]
3. Because Dopey tried everything, he shared his oily testimonials with his friends. His friends signed up for their own YL accounts under him and the whole Dopey group hit 1000 PV. Doc also has similar success (he was hoping to set up a clinical practice with the oils) and his group also hit 1000 PV. [3 shares]

Each share at this time of writing, is worth USD50. Every month, Snow White can try to qualify for the shares again by fulfilling the same conditions in this exact order for the next 2 years. She and her 7 friends must be on ER for her to qualify:

1. Three downlines (either by themselves or with their own downlines) of minimum 300 PV each
2. Two more downlines (either by themselves or with their own downlines) of minimum 500 PV each
3. Finally, another two more downlines (either by themselves or with their own downlines) of minimum 1000 PV each

[Compensation Plan Part Two] Enroller And Sponsor Payouts

A lot of folks who started using the oils, never thought that they would do the business part of things. And truth to be told, neither did I. I was a product user for 3 years before thinking of doing it as a full time business. I’ve come to realised that if you use the products and have your own testimonies around it, you would naturally share with your loved ones and friends.

So here is how the compensation plan works at a snapshot:

1. Say you have shared about the oils to your friend Alice. Alice wants to try them and signed up for a member account with YL and have entered your member ID as the Enroller and Sponsor.

2. As the Enroller, you would receive the Fast Start Bonus, which is 25% of the pv that Alice has purchased for the first 3 months. Let’s say she joined as a Essential Rewards member. She purchased 100 PV each month. You would get 25 PV each month.
In USA, 1 PV = 1 USD. Same for countries that do not have a YL office. For us in Singpapore, to understand how much you will receive in SGD, simply multiply it by 1.37. That comes to about SGD30+. The payout is capped at 200 PV per new member per month for the first 3 months. To qualify for this payout, you must put through a 50 PV order for the same month.

If Alice enrols her friend to be a member as well, you would receive 10% of the PV of the third person for the first 3 months. This payout is capped at 80 PV per new member.

3. As the Sponsor, you also receive a monthly commission of 8%. Unlike the Enroller bonus, the Sponsor payout IS FOR LIFE. So that means that wherever Alice buys in terms of PV, you get the 8% payout. To calculate the SGD equivalent, multiply it by 1.37. To qualify for this payout and all future payouts, you need to put through a 100 PV order for the same month.
