Thieves Mouthwash Review

Hello! This is Steffie, your forever 25 years old vainpot writer, who loves to share my daily adventures using Young Living products. To read more about my adventures, check out my Facebook group or email me at mailsteffie@yahoo.com.sg.

I have a testimonial to share about Thieves Mouthwash.

My almost 7 years old daughter was complaining to me about gum pain a few days back, so I saw a huge pimple on her gums. Almost the size of her tooth, I was quite alarmed, the pimple is more like a swelling. I was worried that it may be swelling from some foreign object poked into the gums. My gal said the pimple has been there for a few weeks and the pain is getting worse now.

It was late at night and we couldn’t bring her to the doctor or dentist then. Hence, I did what I could with whatever resources I have on hand. I made her gargle with Thieves Mouthwash diluted, then applied lemon essential oil on the pimple.

Next morning, I inspected her gums and pimple, I thought the pimple seems smaller and my gal said not as painful. Plus she wasn’t willing to go to the doctor. She continued to gargle with diluted Thieves mouthwash twice daily. Today is the 4th day and the pimple is barely visible. Oh yeah! The little gal was so relieved, because daddy kept scaring her that she needs to go for surgery to remove that pimple.

Norce’s Top 3 Oils

Hello! My name is Norce, your writer for today! Often mistaken as a secondary student but actually a mom of 2 young children. For more of my posts, please check out my blog or my Indonesian Facebook page!

I’ve been a Young Living user for about 20 months now. You know, among our oiler friends, sometimes we will ask each other, “if you could only choose 1 oil, what would it be?” That’s a real hard question for us, because we love our oils and why would we choose only 1!

So today, for the sake of fun, Winnie Fannon, Faith Teo, Deny Sentosa and I are doing this fun challenge where if we could only choose 3 oils, what would they be? For me, the oils that I’ve chosen are Eucalyptus Blue, Lemongrass and Idaho Blue Spruce.

Eucalyptus Blue is one of my very first oils from Young Living, together with Idaho Blue Spruce. I use it mainly to support my kids’ respiratory systems. I use it every night, just 1-2 drops on my palm, rubbing it 3 times and then rubbing it on their soles before letting it rest for a few seconds. And because their feet are clean, I use the excess oil on their chest too, and I inhale the rest.

The second oil is Lemongrass. Lemongrass is no secret amongst Indonesian oilers, it’s good to support the digestive system and it helps to increase appetite in some people. For my kids, I use it after Eucalyptus Blue, in the same way by taking 1-2 drops on my palm, rub together and apply on their soles. I let it rest for a while, then I apply the rest on their tummies.

If you haven’t heard before, Eucalyptus Blue with Lemongrass is great for supporting your immune system. If you heard about what Melissa can do, these 2 together are comparable to Melissa. And if you love Thieves, these 2 can do what Thieves can do for your immune systems as well.

The last oil is Idaho Blue Spruce, it has the highest frequency of all oils at around 580 MHz. Usually I mix 3-4 drops in epsom salts, and soak my kids in the bath tub for 10-20 minutes. Because of its high frequency, whenever you are feeling low physically or emotionally, this is good to use, as it helps to bring your frequency back up again.

I also like to anoint the crown of their heads with Idaho Blue Spruce or apply it on their spines.

Those are my 3 oils! I’m waiting for Deny Sentosa, Faith Teo and Winnie Fannon to share what are their 3 oils. Thank you and bye bye!

Eucalyptus Blue + Lemongrass = MELISSA (almost!)

Hello! This is Steffie, your forever 25 years old vainpot writer, who loves to share my daily adventures using Young Living products. To read more about my adventures, check out my Facebook group or email me at mailsteffie@yahoo.com.sg.

Didi is under the weather. Bad timing! School reopens coming Monday! Have been oiling him with RC, Peppermint and Melrose to help support his respiratory system.

Diffusing a mixture of Eucalyptus Blue essential oil and Lemongrass essential oil in our bedroom to for power air cleansing.

I was told that diffusing a mixture of Eucalyptus Blue essential oil and Lemongrass essential oil is almost the equivalent of Melissa essential oil.

Do you know that Melissa essential oil is one of the best oil for cleansing the air? While Eucalyptus Blue essential oil and Lemongrass essential oil are also the top few oils for cleansing air?

Juniper for Lungs and Kidneys

Hello! I am Irene! With knowledge, there is empowerment, so here I am to share with you my oily experiences! For more of my posts, please check out my Facebook page!

This baby in the photo. #heartmelts My number 2, he’s why I started using YLEO more than 2 years ago. He’s turning 4 very soon. ❤️

You see, he is prone to respiratory conditions. Too often, to the point of exasperation.

This journey has gotten me to delve into the topic of body systems as they are integrated as one and balanced as whole. In certain situations, the supporting of lung function on its own will be good enough. However, for recurring conditions, it is worth a good look into the other core organs (heart, kidneys, liver, spleen) as they are interlinked.

From my observations and listening to my gut as his mommy, I know I need to support his kidney functions as part of immunity building. Therefore, on top of using oils to support his respiratory function, I add Juniper to the oiling regime. Juniper is a detoxifier for the kidneys. By bolstering normal kidney health, they will work in sync with lungs to grasp Qi. #breathedeeply

Juniper oil reeks of poorly-dried clothes to me but it works great for my little one, so hold my breath and oil on. #ineedthisoil

White Angelica

Hello! This is Steffie, your forever 25 years old vainpot writer, who loves to share my daily adventures using Young Living products. To read more about my adventures, check out my Facebook group or email me at mailsteffie@yahoo.com.sg.

white-angelica

My youngest child, code-named C2, had been extremely cranky for the past week, and he will start fussing at night. The type, where he is already asleep, eyes are closed tight while he will cry and scream loudly with his hands and legs wildly hitting anyone (the mother) who tried to hug him.

Being very analytical, I attributed to the funeral held under my block being the contributing factor. But I’ve been making my 2 kids (code-named the 2Cs), avoid the walking pass the funeral. With some probing, my elder child (code-named C1) later revealed that they have been playing scooter under the block daily, and of course passed by the funeral area multiple times. Duhz!

So I applied White Angelica essential oil on C2’s crown, shoulder, neck, chest and over the heart. And also dripped a few drops of White Angelica essential oil on my palm and swept his aura. The crying and screaming stopped soon after, and the little boy opened his eyes, requested for some water and went back to peaceful sleep.

White Angelica has a unique blend of 10 oils to create a frequency field to ward off the bombardment of negative energy. It is important for use in emotional cleansing. It helps to increase the aura around the body, bringing sense of strength and protection. May I also add, White Angelica essential oil is very good for skin too. Some of the oils in this blend are Bergamot, Geranium, Myrrh, Sandalwood, Rosewood and Rose, which are the oils that I’ve always used in my oily beauty routine.

White Angelica essential oil is a MUST-have oil in my travel oil bag. I’m very sensitive to the environment and very paranoid, so sleeping in hotel rooms or unfamiliar places are very unnerving activities for me. When I travel alone for work, I sleep with all the lights switched on! Anyways, I will dig out my diffuser and diffuse White Angelica essential oil once I get into the hotel room and got rid of the bell-boy.

White Angelica is also the essential oil to use if you have to step into uncomfortable situation. For working folks, if you have to attend a meeting that will have much disagreement, negotiation and ‘some’ screaming, applyWhite Angelica on your crown, shoulder and neck, to protect yourself from the negative energies in the room. So that these negative energies do not attach to you and affect you for longer than the duration of the awful meeting.

I’m Out Of RC!!

Hello! I am Irene! With knowledge, there is empowerment, so here I am to share with you my oily experiences! For more of my posts, please check out my Facebook page!

What was the first oil that you were recommended for respiratory support? … RC, most likely! Every Young Living user loves it, I am sure. I love it! But, hey, believe it or not, in my 21 months of usage, I have only used 1 bottle of RC and a second bottle is hardly touched. And I am a heavy oil user when it relates to respiratory function.

It is common to hear “RC is the only one that helps”. When RC went out of of stock, there was disappointment and a mad rush to stock up or to get from any available source. RC becomes a coveted oil. Today, it is not uncommon to get a few bottles on standby.

RC is a great blend and so is every single and blend that Young Living has to offer. In my humble opinion, keep calm and choose alternatives for respiratory function.

Here are some oils I have used in place of RC very regularly on my boys which in turn, double up as oils for my self-care routine:

Basil

  • For boys: It supports immune and respiratory functions
  • For me: It helps me to detox.

Copaiba

  • For boys: It magnifies other oils and supports the throat function.
  • For me: I consume it daily in my water or Ningxia Red as a dietary supplement.

Cypress

  • For boys: It improves lung efficiency
  • For me: It promotes circulation and I use it nightly for dark eye circles.

Dorado Azul

  • For boys: It opens airways to support normal breathing.
  • For me: It heightens my spiritual awareness together with Hyssop for meditation.

Goldenrod

  • For boys: It supports throat function.
  • For me: It spice up the bedroom when needed. Ahem. 😉

Idaho Balsam Fir

  • For boys: It supports lung capacity.
  • For me: It soothes backache due to monthly women issues.

Ocotea

  • For boys: It is similar to Copaiba.
  • For me: It supports my digestive system and regulates normal blood sugar levels.

I am sure you know of many more oils that you can use to replace RC and for yourself too! Have a great evening!

Brain Power

Hello! This is Steffie, your forever 25 years old vainpot writer, who loves to share my daily adventures using Young Living products. To read more about my adventures, check out my Facebook group or email me at mailsteffie@yahoo.com.sg.

I want to say Brainpower smells absolutely amazing and invigorating. I frequently apply this at work, and people in the same area start looking for the nice smell.

When to use Brainpower?

* When you need to concentrate and focus on a challenging task that requires a lot of Brainpower (no pun intended) and thinking. I applied and re-apply Brainpower essential oil several times on my brain stem and neck while writing this. I also apply this when I need to analyze stuff at work, apply this on my children when they are studying especially when preparing for tests, spelling and 听写. Apply on both your children and yourself when you are studying together with them, so the children can remember better and you can focus on getting the task done. *grin*

* If you are getting forgetful or absent minded. This is definitely me. I can introduce friend A to friend B. And one fine day, when friend B asked me about friend A, I was surprised and asked how did they get acquainted. (Friend A and B, you will know who you are if you are reading this)

* Brain fog! You feel like there’s a cloud in your brain, causing you to be confused, forgetful, difficulty to focus and lack of mental clarity.

* Mental alertness.

* Useful when you want to play mahjong and win. You will want to stay alert and improve your memory, so you remember who threw what card and analyze who is waiting for what winning card.

* When going for examination and you need all the mental power and alertness to recall what you have studied.

* When your nxr sachets goes missing and you need all the mental alertness to investigate who in the house secretly drank 10 sachets in a day!

* Regulate your sleep-wake schedule. Brainpower supports various brain functions, and one of them is the pineal glands to secrete melatonin which helps us to sleep.

* Detox your brain. We are exposed to lots of chemicals and toxins daily and much of these goes into our brains. Think of Brainpower eating these toxins and get them out of our system.

How to use Brainpower?

* Apply on brainstem, neck, throat and under the nose.

* Drip a drop on your thumb and press it against the roof of your mouth

* Diffuse or inhale directly from your hands

What is in Brainpower?

* Sandalwood essential oil is high in sesquiterpenes known to stimulate the limbic and pineal areas of the brain and affects memories and emotions.

* Cedarwood essential oil high in sesquiterpenes, stimulates the pineal gland which improves understanding , thoughts and memory.

* Frankincense essential oil stimulates the limbic system which helps to elevate the mind and improve emotions.

* Melissa essential oil also affects the limbic system and may help remove emotional obstructions and improve outlook.

* Blue Cypress essential oil may help improve circulation and oxygenation to the brain while stimulating the pineal and limbic portions of the brain as well as the hypothalamus and pituitary gland

* Lavender essential oil has been documented to improve relaxation and concentration.

* Helichrysum essential oil supports circulation and is thought to support nerve function. This may help support awareness and concentration ability.
